"Done For You" Brands?

As hard as I’ve tried, I literally CANNOT stop thinking about new business ideas, hooks, and brands.

It’s been over 12 years – and my addiction has grown worse. So I have 2 options.

1. Build out all of my business ideas, hire hundreds of staff, and then start to hate my life.
2. Continue to come up with great business hooks – and offer them to you for a great deal.

I’m going with #2. And here’s how it will work.

Every so often, I am going to offer a brand I have created for sale. They will cover everything from business to fitness.

And YOU will own the domain name and the logo. It’s all yours.

That’s right – you’ll get the DOMAIN NAME and the LOGO. I’ve already secured the domain name and will even give you some cool ideas. You just plug & play. It’s the same stuff people pay $20K a day for.

Since I don’t know how you will use the domain name, doing a trademark search and securing it is your responsibility. You will simply buy the domain and logo (of course, you can use your own logo or change this one.. you’ll receive multiple formats of the logo)

IMPORTANT: Since I only have one of these domains, it’s purely FIRST COME/FIRST SERVE. I will monitor the page, and the instant the brand is purchased, the “buy now” button will be removed.

When payment is received, the transfer will be initiated (it usually takes a few days to completely transfer over).

BRAND FOR SALE: 5MinuteFitness.com

IDEAS: Perfect for short workouts to sell via DVDs, books, ebooks or even a membership site. And if you are really motived, a great name for a niche training studio! This is a powerful branded name – and it will sell out quickly.

PRICE: Just $995 for the domain and logo.

If you want the name, grab it now by clicking the button above. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever…

I’d love to have your feedback. If you like this idea – just comment below and I’ll keep them coming. I own close to 1,000 domain names and I’m always coming up with new “hooks”.

      Hey Scott,

All you need is the one buyer for each name. That’s all it takes.

And you already have a big social media following.. get out there and kick some ass!

      Hey Blaine,

These ideas and resources are just going to gather dust.. time to get the ideas out.

I thought about that Ben.. but then I have to chase the winning bidder down. This way is just more simple and clean.

      1. Cool. BTW, just finishing up “Press Send, Get Paid”. That is a great series of videos, Ryan. FounderFly rocks! Sad I can’t make it out to the conference this weekend, but I really want to go to another of your live events soon. Cheers.

  1. Ryan, any chance can you send this Mentsch an email which I can respond directly to? my email has been included. Thanks!

Just contact me at ryanlee.com/support. Shirley or Demetria will get me the message.

  2. Great idea, Ryan! I have some really good domain names also with some business ideas I don’t see myself getting around to anytime soon. How do you suggest we market them if we don’t have a great list with thousands of names like you do?

There are sites like afternic.com and flippa.com which are marketplaces for sites/domains.

Also, start with any social media places like facebook and twitter as well.

    1. Are you people blind? For real? Anything this guy puts on his blog is absolute gold to you?

@WebDesignFife is absolutely right – you could basically get this stuff done for $10.

The logo isn’t even that good. For you to invest a grand in this, then build a business with it and then make your money back, it’ll be a while.

Logos / domain names don’t make you money: good marketing & content does.

Stop dickriding on Mr. Lee & start thinking for yourself.

Why does it take a while to “make your money back”? That, my friend, is living in the world of scarcity. If you think it takes that long to make back a $1k investment – then you are in the wrong business.

And like I said, you can certainly buy names for about $10 – and I still do. BUT, if you want a good name that’s already taken, you often have to pay a premium for it.

Next time, use your real name and step up to the plate so we can have a real, intelligent conversation.

Yes, there are many options and still lots of names you could buy cheaper.

But your brand is important – and, if you can swing it and really want a specific name/brand, then you can invest in premium names.

I look at this as a REAL business and sometimes, it cost money to start one.

      1. “Sigh” – you don’t sound like a business man my friend. Ryan lee has built dozens upon dozens of succesful businesses and has made in one day what many of us would like to make in 10-20 years (i’m sure this statement is accurate). He is giving you a business idea with angles on how to approach it – proven methods I might add. This is a deal for anybody with the the cajones and energy to do what it takes to make a go of it. After which you can then spin off and do much more in other avenues using the tools you have learned.

Ryan, please contact me – i’m very interested.

  3. After sitting down with Jeff Hershey and he helping me rebrand a previous brand for relaunch, I have to agree, the price is well worth it.

But how about a piece on how to do proper trademark research and registration? Few know how to do that and I would pay for a authority piece from an expert like you Ryan.

Of course I just pay my patent attorney. But for some, the knowledge would be gold.

      Hi Chris,

I can give my “non-legal” version of TM searches and registration.

      Stay tuned…

  4. great idea Ryan I see you are thinking outside the box 🙂 this is what happens when you have Entrepreneurial A.D.D. 🙂

  5. it’s a great idea

    put in to action

the man has IDEAS in ACTION

  6. OMG

This concept is a brilliant way to help others
    and get your genius expressed.
Ryan you have planted a seed – WOW

    This entire project is AMAZING!

You gave me an Idea to add to my current project – just yesterday I helped a student of mine come up with url & logo and I did’t think twice about the VALUE until you just showed me –

    Thank you for sharing this!

  7. Hey Ryan, I tried sending a few emails to shirley about being a volunteer at the dotcomxpo but haven’t heard anything. Not sure if they have reached you or not, but please consider and let me know – I will work all three days (i’ll be the first there and the last one out) and make sure all of your guests are well taken care of!

  8. Ryan –
You are just the best at this. One other idea for you is you can have people submit their unused domain names for your consideration to create one of these and you then give them a % for selling for them. Just a thought to add to this concept.
Happy Birthday to you again. Celebrate all month long. FYI-Annie is coming to Broadway in case you want get tickets to bring the fam. 🙂
Have an amazing conference. I wish I could come. next time. cheers.
