The True Spirit of Sports!

I came across this video many months ago and almost forgot about it. Then I received an email from Vince Delmonte reminding me of how powerful this story is.

I get teary every time I see it.

As the parent of a child with autism this video is incredibly tear jerking and inspirational. His feats on the basketball court are far secondary to the social support that he receives from his fellow students. That connection to his peers is what is really is moving.

It was definitly a Great story and the buz for along time here in Rochester,NY. For sure we need to hear more great stories in the news about good people doing great things, and less about the junk that goes on!

I HAVE WORKED WITH CHILDREN DIAGNOSED WITH AUTISM FOR SOME TIME NOW!! I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED IN MY HEART THAT IF ONLY THESE CHILDREN WERE GIVEN A CHANCE…..THEY TO CAN ACHIEVE VICTORY!!!!
